Toboggan and Sledging Fun in Gastein

Toboggan, also called sledging, is not just for kids! The sense of speed with the wind blowing in your face when you shoot down the snow covered slope is going to convince you otherwise.

In conjunction with the so-called "Hüttengaudi" [alp hut party], sledging is perfect winter fun. Because sledging at night, after a couple of "Schnapserl" at the alp hut with fellow holiday makers, is a great way to end the day. Toboggan fun is held every Tuesday and Thursday evening. You make your way to the "Aeroplanstadl", where you'll find the 3.3 km long toboggan slope.

Take part in the fun, no matter how old you are, you won't regret it. Sledging is fun at any age, not just for grown up kids, but also for your little ones, who will simply love it. A winter's day for small guests is usually perfect, when they have had some sledging fun.

Besides being child's play and a winter activity, we shouldn't forget the romantic aspect of sledging. Enjoy some amorous sledging with your partner under a star-spangled sky - the inimitable atmosphere makes for an unforgettable memory.
