However, there's no shortage of possibilities for free roaming for those seeking a little more action. The Gastein Valley offers a wide range of well-signposted mountain bike routes for any level of difficulty. Your mountain bike will make you a right trailblazer; the mountain routes are sure to meet your training requirements. Should you not be able to bring your two-wheeled friend, we offer bike-hire at the Hotel.
Cycling increases stamina and strengthens the leg muscles - take this fantastic landscape as inspiration for doing something for your health. Because a "home trainer" can never match cycling in nature. Nothing comes even remotely close to the feeling that you have when arriving at the summit, exhausted but happy, by merit of your very own muscle power and tenacity.
