The Hotel owners were keen to achieve a symbiosis between a modern wellness park-scape and the natural beauty of the Gastein Valley, when designing the new Grand Park Spa. The term Spa stems originally from the Latin word "sanus per aquam" and means roughly "healthy through water". A motto that the Grand Park Spa takes literally. Water plays the central role in the new Relax-Oasis. The healing Gastein thermal springs are the basis of many treatments that nurture your body.
A fitness studio with the latest high-tech equipment is just as much part of this generous Spa complex as are the steam baths and different saunas. Reclining areas and rest zones shouldn't be missing either. Nestle into one of our loungers and enjoy a good book or simply relax and take in the breath-taking mountains of Gastein.
Something extra special is the Spa Suite with bathtub. Here, you can literally close the door on the stresses of daily life and spend a relaxing time with your partner or alone.

ROSE QUARTZ STEAM BATH

Recommended duration: 10 – 12 minutes
Rose quartz creates harmony and reduces built-up anxieties. The soothing warm steam gently opens up the pores and eases respiratory problems.
AROMATIC STEAM GROTTO
Temperature: 42-45°C
Humidity: 100 %
Recommended duration: 10 – 12 minutes
Diffused aromatic scents have a stimulating effect, put you in a good mood, heal, calm and de-stress. The warm steam induces gentle perspiration and is highly beneficial to the respiratory system.
SNAIL ADVENTURE SHOWERS
Select your shower intensity, choose between tropical rain, waterfall or gentle drizzle. The side shower and the Kneipp Hose guarantee a particularly refreshing cleansing ritual.
CIRCULAR SHOWER
This comfortable shower with overhead and side-shower heads provides unadulterated cleansing and refreshment. The Kneipp Hose stimulates circulation.
SOLE INHALATION GROTTO

Recommended durationr: 10 – 12 minutes
Diffused sea salts and essential eucalyptus and mint extracts cleanse the skin and are balm to the respiratory system. The ph-value of the skin is optimized; purification and detoxification are stimulated gently.
LACONIUM

Recommended duration: 10 – 15 minutes
In this dry-heat sweat bath the body's muscles are relaxed with mild radiant heat, increasing the circulation of the skin and stimulating the metabolism. Fantastically relaxing!
TEPIDARIUM
Temperature: 39°C
Humidity: dry
Recommended duration: 15 – 30 minutes
Ideal to revitalize! Activates and strengthens the immune system. Purification and detoxification are stimulated. Ergonomically shaped loungers and meditative imagery ensure total relaxation.
ICE IGLOO
Temperature: - 5°C
Humidity: dry
Cools down the overheated body after the sauna, strengthens the immune system and gently closes the skin's pores.
FINNISH SAUNA
Temperature: 80-95°C
Humidity: 20-40 % depending on amount of aromatic water thrown onto heated stone
Recommended duration: 8 - 15 Minuten
The "cardio-vascular training" at low humidity. Throwing spruce wood extract water and waters enriched with natural oils onto the hot stone enhance the experience.
AROMATIC SAUNA
Temperature: 45-50°C
Humidity: 20-30 %
Recommended duration: 15 - 20 minutes
Biological functions are gently stimulated in the human body through the use of light, aromatherapy and pleasant heat.
BIO-HERB SAUNA

The mild herbal infusion thrown onto the heated stone develops into a wonderfully relaxing scent. This steam bath has a gentle effect on the cardio-vascular system and is a real elixir for body and soul.

Choose between mild tropical rain, refreshing waterfall, the side-shower or the gentle drizzle of the fog jet.
