Location and Getting There
Central yet Quiet - the Ideally Situated Grand Park Hotel
The Grand Park Hotel Bad Hofgastein is situated in the beautiful Gastein Valley, a leisure paradise and excellent starting point for numerous summer and winter sports. The impressive mountains never give visitors the impression of being hemmed in - the Hotel's location rather offers the best of both worlds: an open, sweeping valley and all the benefits of the surrounding mountain range. In the heart of Bad Hofgastein, on the edge of the National Park Hohe Tauern, you can enjoy the most extraordinary holiday in the southern region of the Salzburger Land - in midst of a splendid Hotel Park.
The skiing region Gastein with an altitude of up to 1,600 m is a sportsman's dream with guaranteed snow until April. Ski busses take you to the ski lifts in just 2 minutes - you could say the piste starts right on our doorstep. Cross-country skiers and winter hiking enthusiasts find ideal conditions in the gentle plains of the valley.
During summer the nearby Golf Club Gastein invites you to improve your handicap. The adjacent Angertal [valley] again provides a unique hiking experience for hikers.
